Adrian Buckley has a Bachelor of Community Design, and completed a Permaculture Design Certificate in 2009. Before reGenerate Design, Adrian founded and operated Big Sky Permaculture, where he taught courses in permaculture design as one of the early pioneers of the permaculture movement in Calgary. He has extensive experience implementing over 60 ecological design and build projects in Calgary and surrounding areas. His expertise in ecological design is complimented by his skill and passion for observing natural processes, reading the landscape, and plant community design.

Adrian also founded and directs the Calgary Harvest project, which aims to bring people together to harvest local unused fruit from registered trees across Calgary. Originally from Nova Scotia, he calls Calgary home, and has an urban homestead that he stewards with his family.
