Lindsay Meads
Lindsay Meads has a Bachelor of Applied and Environmental Geology and a Master of Environmental Design in Urban Design, as well as completing a Permaculture Design Certificate in 2014. She has worked with community associations developing sustainability plans using public engagement, facilitating design workshops, and implementing placemaking projects in the public realm. Before founding reGenerate Design, she worked for the City of Calgary in Development and Building Approvals, giving her a detailed understanding of bylaws, policy, planning, and urban design. Additionally, she has project management experience in the environmental consulting industry; including managing field programs with multiple contractors, project budgeting, and technical report writing.
Lindsay has always had a love for travel, urban design, culture, and food. Since 2019 she has been working hybrid remotely; she has spent most of her life in Calgary, and has lived in the mountains in the town of Guanajuato, Mexico. She also has volunteered as the lead organizer of Calgary Seedy Saturday to advocate for sustainable gardening and keep the practice of seed saving alive; and recently volunteered for Proyecto Pastita, a grassroots initiative to clean-up the local river, engage with community members, and conserve a natural area for the public to enjoy.
